Art in College..

I don’t plan on majoring or minoring in art. I still plan on using art as an outlet for my emotions and a great hobby to continue.

Portal Wisconsin

What a cool site! I wish  would have looked at this earlier. Its a website showing you all the cool things happening in the art community! There are classes exhibits and so many other events to attend in the area!

Id love to go to the “Animal Nature” exhibit in Racine. It shows different nature based pieces of art work made of everything from cut paper to blown glass. Animals are so intriguing to me. There is also the “Escape into Landsapes” which is free and right here in waukesha!

The first image i found is a landscape painting done by Diane Arenbrerg. I love ther beautiful almost dream like feel of this picture. The colors are over exaggerated and are so pretty together.

The second is picture of a cat next to a book about birds. I found that combination funny and honestly i jut love cats. The detail of the cats fur make it look like it has a perfect fuzzy texture. Seems as if you could touch the screen and pet it.

Drawing is still basically the same as it has been since prehistoric times. It brings together man and the world. It lives through magic.

Spending my own money on media..

Well before this summer purchased many colors of acryllic paints and different sized an shaped brushes. This summer i bought an $80 prismacolor premier colored pencil set. It came with 48 different colors and i bought two extra whites for blending. Good things i work almost 35 hours a week. Art is expensive but i good investment.
